Protein is essential for the development of muscle and for improving strength.
It is metabolized to an amino acid that is required for the development of the cell.
During daily work, there is wear and tear in the muscles. With an increase in wear and tear muscles are injured. But amino acid nourishes these damaged cells to heal it. Also, it is required for the development of organ and tissues.
It is a question, what is more, beneficial and healthy. It is the most controversial topic.
The protein drink is used by athlete and bodybuilders to increase strength and muscle. Also, it has been replaced by a meal. Is it a good choice or not? Or it is good to go with eating it.
Both foods have their pros and cons. So what is perfect for you. It depends on situation and condition.
If you go to the gym, then you need food that you can carry. As you need quick energy source then carrying a protein drink is beneficial.
Slight delay in protein intake slower muscle growth, delay recovery and increase injury. Thus, for this condition carrying a protein drink is essential.
If you are at home, then you can eat protein rich food. For rich protein food try healthy grains and legumes.
Precaution: Don’t exceed an intake of drink. Replacing it a meal is not a good choice for building muscle. It should be your post workout meal at the gym.
At home, you should eat meat, poultry, dairy products, grains and legumes. They provide protein as well as other nutrients that are helpful for recovering muscles.
