During the workout, we need to take care of the injury. To be frank injury is part of any training.
No Gain Without Pain…
But it doesn’t mean that you can’t do anything to avoid severe injury. Injury can be two types, minor which means pain in joints and severe which cause swelling and severe pain.
If you are facing minor injury, then you can avoid severe injury with low impact exercise.
Low impact exercise is always recommended to prevent excess stress on joints and muscle. So what if you are facing joint pain?
Don’t skip your workout routine. Instead of high-intensity workout, you can choose a low-intensity workout.
Among those cycling can be best low impact exercise. Your knee joints will be safe from high impact.
Also, you can add low impact exercise in your workout routine. By just adding this exercise you will avoid excess stress on joint and even single muscles.
My experience: During training for a marathon, I was facing knee joint pain. But I didn’t want to skip the workout routine. So to keep by workout continuity, I added cycling exercise. So got some time to recover the injury.

- Also, complete your exercise will proper cool down exercise and stretching.
- Eat nutrient rich foods.
- Include low-intensity workout with a high-intensity workout.
- If you feel pain in joint take time to recover and go for low impact exercise like cycling.
Injury severity depends on continuous negligence. So don’t neglect it to avoid severe pain and injury.
