Gooseberry known as Amla is among the healthiest food due to its high nutrient content. It is a rich source of antioxidants, iron, vitamin A, C, fiber, potassium, magnesium, calcium, etc.

So it highly proves beneficial to health.

Gooseberries have multiple health benefits and it not just said it has been proven. Many researches have been done to find its effectivity on various health problems.

Gooseberries are of many varieties but the healthiest and most discussed is Indian Gooseberry.

They may seem to be ordinary fruit. But they are packed with multiple active antioxidants. These antioxidants have been found to benefits in many ways.

1. Eye

Gooseberry or Amla is very healthy for the eye. It reduces the risk and treats cataract or nearsightedness. It is good to prevent loss of eye vision.

Gooseberry stands tall in the list high antioxidants content compared to goji berry, blueberry, pomegranate seeds, whortleberries, etc..

Amla or Gooseberry possess potent benefits against free radicals.

      I take gooseberry juice 100 ml. (half a glass) in empty stomach. It is wonderful. My stomach clear and I feel energetic. Good for every one!

    My honey qu told me about the health benefits of AMLA and I really want to try it,it’s fresh fruit anyway. I am currently here in Philippines and couldn’t find some fresh fruits here like I wanted. Me I know where I can get this AMLA here if anybody can know..Please send me some Info. Thank you

      You look at your marketplace for fresh fruit or even powdered form. Both are beneficial. You can also get it at online store.

    If the Gooseberry juice is mixed with jaggery cubes (obtained from sugarcanes) and stored for two months in any airtight porclein container, it’s juice gets extracted along with jaggery… If you drink one table spoon of this juice which has very good medicinal value, you hair grows thicker and stronger… Your cheeks will start glowing (pinkish colour)…

    I keep this wonder fruit inside my car and have three a day.Very good for digestion and to avoid stomach upset in high altitude place.
    You may put this in salt water and can use it as pickle.

    It is really a wonderful gift of Nature.

    I used it on regularly for 100 days , 2 numbers per day.
    My eye sight got improved well as I was suffering eye sight issues.
    Also I am not getting any flue or caught etc.

    Really it is very good try , you will feel fresh and active by fifth day on wards.

      It will lose it’s nutritional value. Infact you can drink the water if add a pich of salt.
