Weight loss may be sometime an issue that makes us think twice about ” What to Eat and What to Skip !“.
If you are still thinking about it, then you might think about drinking a sports drink…
Is it safe for our weight loss goal?
As there is a twist in question, the answer is also has a twisted.
So want to know about sports drink…
Sports drinks are designed to provide us a good amount of simple sugar which is used to provide energy and it also contains sodium that recovers the loss of sodium during sweating.
So it is always misunderstood that we need a sports drink for exercise.
Use of sports drink depends on many things.
Planning for weight loss?
As we know that we need to train hard to lose weight which means we have to burn a calorie. So weight loss depends on how many calories we burn.
If you burn more calorie you will get a quick result, but if a calorie is burned slowly then you will get results, but it will take more time.
How it relates to sports drinks?
Sports drinks are rich sources of simple sugar which mean high calorie. When we do an intense workout, our body requires more calorie to fill the gap of calories. It can be termed that, try sports drink whenever you burn more calorie.
But whenever you are on moderate exercise, always avoid it. If you increase your calorie intake and burn fewer calories, excess calorie will be stored in the form of fat.
So it will be a big obstacle in weight loss…
If you are planning to try a sports drink then one thing I will recommend you that use it whenever you need. Don’t use it regularly. If you are able to keep your calorie intake in balance then you will see quick results in weight loss.
If you plan to go for a drink then you can try coconut water which is highly recommended after workout. It maintains fluid and electrolyte level in balance. Along with it is packed with healthy nutrients that fasten the recovery.
A sports drink is mostly used by the athlete for an intense workout or sports events. But due to misguidance we use it as regularly for the workout.
By adding it, we increase our calorie intake. If weight loss in our goal then it will worsen the result. So minimize the use of sports drink if you plan for weight loss.
You can try coconut water or lemon drink as a healthy substitute.
