Our daily activity entirely manages our weight loss. It means “What we do? When do we eat? And other habits”.
Timing and daily activity is responsible for a healthy life and also unhealthy life. If we totally manage our day to day activity properly, then we would able to boost our metabolism.
Yup! Metabolism plays an important role is managing our healthy weight without any extra effort.
By simply improving it, we would increase fat burn in our body.
How Metabolism Helps To Lose Weight?
Losing weight isn’t possible without metabolism. Metabolism is the ability of the body to burn fat to supply energy to the body. So with higher metabolism we consume more calorie than usual. So it becomes an important factor that affects our weight.
You might have seen that some people eat small quantity but gain weight quickly. While some people don’t gain weight, instead of eating a large amount of food.
The factor affecting is the rate of metabolism.
People with low metabolism rate can’t burn calorie, and it is stored in the form of fat in the cell. While people with higher metabolismm, burn excess calories to prevent storage.
So it becomes important to improve our metabolism if we wish to lose weight.
What can we do from our side to improve our metabolism if we have a slow metabolism?

A healthy lifestyle naturally improves metabolism. So we must know few mistakes we do daily that are killing our metabolism.
It is divided into 2 parts. Night & Morning mistake
1. Night Mistakes
A. Sleeping Late Night
The sleeping pattern can considerably affect our metabolism. It is found that during deep sleep body utilize more calorie to burn food.
These nutrients are utilized to recover the muscle tear and injury. So body burns more calorie for recovery of muscle and to build new cells.
But it is only possible if we get a deep sleep for a longer time.
A deep sleep for 7-8 hour is recommended for proper recovery and development of muscle. So if you are missing your sleep, then you slower the recovery of body and metabolism.
Also, it is found that people who are not able to complete their sleep tend to eat more calorie loaded foods.
So avoid late night work. You can schedule it for the morning or do it earlier as possible without missing your deep sleep.
B. Late Night Eating
Late night eating is another reason you might gain weight. We often work late night or enjoy a late night movie.
But by changing the lifestyle, you might risk your complete health. It is most common when we are still awake late night; we get calorie dense food available in the kitchen.
During the late night, we are not interested in doing any work to get healthy food. So we usually eat cookies, pastries, etc. that are readily available in our kitchen.
Another side-effect of late night eating is that it increases body glycogen level.
Due to increased glycogen level, we are not able to eat a healthy diet in the morning. Also, the food we eat in the morning is stored in the body. So it may boost your weight gain.
So avoid sleeping late night and avoid eating late night. If you are not able to go to sleep one night due to some work, then you can try fruit instead of calorie dense food.

2. Morning Mistakes
A. Not Eating Right Food at Right Time
During deep sleep, our body utilize maximum nutrient for recovery and development of the cell. It becomes necessary for us to nourish our body in the morning.
What’s the best way?
In the morning, our metabolism is quite stable but eating nutrient rich food improves our metabolism to burn more calorie throughout the day.
We need enough protein to burn more calorie. Also, vitamin and mineral also improve body function to utilize calorie efficiently. Also, we need fat and carbohydrate.
For a morning breakfast, you should eat a small serving of fruit, vegetables, nuts, cereals, etc. Combining these foods will increase energy level and boost metabolism.
B. No exercise
Exercise is one of the most important factors that boost metabolism. We usually skip exercise, but quick weight loss is not possible without any workout routine.
High-intensity workout boosts metabolism to burn calorie 24 hours after it is performed. So we burn calorie throughout the day without any other extra effort.
Tabata or HIIT exercise lasts for 4 to 20 minutes, but they are effective to boost metabolism for 24 hours which are known as AfterBurn Effect. So enjoy few short, intense exercises to lose weight quickly.
C. Whole Day Activity
Yes! The whole day activity can also affect our metabolism. The main principle of a higher metabolism is what we eat and right time… Without eating nutrient rich food, the body will not perform efficiently.
Tips to go throughout the day:
- Eat small but 6 times a day.
- Include protein every time you eat
- Avoid diet coke. It also slower the metabolism.
- Drink more water.
