Fat is among the most important nutrient for development of cells. It is required for development and nourishment of brain cell. So it deficiency can reduce the functionality of the brain.
If you feel tired or lower in energy, it may be due to poor brain functioning.
When the brain is not functioning properly, it can’t assist other body function. Se we start feeling tired.
Along with this one of the major problems is depression. So if we aren’t getting the right amount of Omega 3 from food, we are at higher risk for development of depression.
Along with it, we will lack in energy which increases sleepiness.
Omega 3 is required for cell development, and it also protects from oxidative stress. Oxidative stress increases the damage of brain cell while Omega 3 protects it from these damages.
You can get a high amount of Omega 3 from foods like fish, oil, and fruits.
Fish: Salmon, tuna, herring, mackerel, sardines, oyster, etc.
Oils: Sunflower, soybean, olive, sesame.
Nuts: Almond and walnut
If you are non-vegetarian, you can eat fish twice a week, not more than that.
If you are vegetarian, then you can try healthy foods like nuts. Add them to morning breakfast it will provide enough Omega 3 for your daily need.
Omega 3 is a fatty acid required for healthy development of cells. If you are on a weight loss program, it is not an issue to eat Omega 3 foods.
During weight loss, the main problem is not eating a healthy source of fat. Eating fast food provides us unhealthy fat. So adopt a healthy diet and eat foods that contain enough fat as stated above.
During deficiency, you should depend on a healthy source of food instead of depending on supplements.
Minimize the use of supplements and start your day with nuts to get more benefits. Also include a workout in your routine. Exercise improves brain function. Go healthy with the right diet and exercise routine.
