We make a schedule for the workout. But we don’t follow it continuously. After a few days of workout, we start skipping exercise.
What is the reason for it? Why do we fail to complete our Workout schedule? Is it our mistake or our planning?
During planning a workout schedule our energy level is high. But as the day passes our energy level fall and our motivation becomes blur.
Whatever may be the goal – Weight Loss or Muscle Growth.
We need the motivation to achieve our goal. But due to lack of motivation, we start making excuses.
Excuses are one of the biggest reasons for skipping exercises. We make any excuse means a useless excuse to skip exercise. I will complete it tomorrow? I don’t have time?
The reason may vary. But what is a solution for this problem.
1. Prepare Accurate Schedule
Firstly make a proper, accurate schedule.
We make a big mistake while making a schedule. We usually make our workout schedule during our free time i.e. when we are free or on holiday. So we make the wrong decision while planning.
To make an accurate schedule remember a few things in mind about daily activity.
What you do daily or every alternate day and prepare according to as time permit. It will prevent you from skipping exercise due to lack of time.
Sometimes we give excuse due to exercise.
Same workout can be very boring. So it is necessary to plan a workout routine that includes varieties of exercises. It will keep your motivation high.
Include cardio exercises like skipping, jogging, cycling or treadmill.
Two day strength training exercise with one day cardio will refresh you. Also alternate exercise prevents same muscle training. So it protects from injury.
3. Accept Own Limit
Accepting own limit is also important during planning a workout.
After a long time of the break, we can’t suddenly add a high-intensity exercise. So prepare a schedule based on present fitness level. It is a good choice to start the workout with light exercise.
As the day passes fitness level increases, so you can increase exercise intensity slowly.
Suddenly increasing the intensity of exercise can lead to injury. So slowly and steadily increase intensity.
4. Challenge Your Limit
Limit! It’s not that you can’t achieve your goal. Plan wisely your routine. If you wish to reach 100 pushups a day, then accept it as a challenge and train daily.
Challenging your limit on a regular basis will boost your motivation.
So challenge your limit. You can do it.
5. Set Goal
Set a goal and reach it. Small goal is not small when it is completed. Fell the enjoyment of achieving your goal. But set an achievable goal.
6. Friend Circle
Join a gym with friends. You will never make any excuse while going to the gym.
Excuses are the reason for the failure of workout program. We might make a regular program but due to excuse, we skip it.
Give few minutes for health. Forget your work for a few minutes. You can do it later.
One of mine excuse to skip exercise “Don’t have time, I will cover it tomorrow! “ But once Time is lost it’s lost. What’s your Excuse?
