Weight gain is among the most common issue everyone faces. It seems tough to achieve the results, so we easily get attracted towards diets. These diets may be a short time till shows result.
After we start achieving the goal, we start skipping it.
Following a strict diet is not possible for anyone. We can’t resist from trying a different taste of food. So within a few days, we start skipping our diet.
As soon we see we are gaining weight, we again start dieting. It is a continuous process, and we do not get the required result. This type of dieting is known as “Yo-yo Dieting”.
Yo-yo dieting is referred as Yo-yo, which comes back when we throw it. Yo-yo dieting is not advisable for anyone who wish to gain healthy weight. If you feel discouraged while you gain weight instead of dieting, then you will worsen your health.
And Yo-Yo dieting is helpful for permanent weight loss. It helps you achieve your goal early, but as you skip it, you will start gaining extra weight that you have lost.
So if you wish to lose weight, then you need not work hard. You can achieve it by following few steps. These steps will lead to a healthy lifestyle as clean eating is a pillar of permanent weight loss.
#1 Skip Fad Diet
A Fad diet is said to give quick results for weight loss. But it is considered as one of the unhealthiest diets.
Fad diet focuses on eating a single type of food or nutrient deficient foods. If you are following a fad diet to lose weight, then you might risk your health.
For proper functioning body requires each nutrient in required quantity. If diet lacks in any nutrient, it creates an imbalance in the supply of nutrients.
Deficiency of nutrient can disturb the metabolism system. Without proper metabolism body can’t burn calorie and weight loss is slow.
Also, when we skip the fad diet, it increases food craving. So we tend to eat more.
#2 Adopt Healthy Diet
If you are planning for permanent weight loss, then you should adopt a healthy diet instead of fad diet.
A healthy diet consists of each and every nutrient. It should contain vegetables, fruits, cereal, poultry, fish, etc.
By eating these foods, we get enough nourishment for optimum metabolism.
We can’t get bored of eating varieties of food. So you can try varieties of dishes to enhance the taste and varieties. By doing this, you will prevent yourself from skipping healthy diet.
Remember for a successful, permanent and healthy weight loss you should prefer a healthy diet.
#3 Small Goal For Long Time Success
Many of time, we stress for quick weight loss. But quick weight loss is not possible.
If we focus on quick weight loss, we might risk our health.
Before setting a goal, focus on you present fitness level. Then plan a weekly program it will keep you motivated, and the result will be good.
We can’t lose 10 kg in a month, but if we go slowly, we will lose weight and also improve our health.
Day by day energy level increases. If your energy level increases day by day, then you can relax and enjoy the routine. You are on the right path to successful weight loss.
#4 Eat On Right Time
Never skip your food. Skipping food slower the metabolism.
Also skipping breakfast can increase hunger to stimulate sugar craving all day we go.
It makes hard to follow a healthy diet. So eat at the right time to avoid unwanted desire for unhealthy foods.
#5 Maintain A Journal
Maintain a journal for keeping track of calorie intake.
By keeping records of your calorie intake, you will get proper info about your diet. So start maintaining a diary.
Also, you can maintain a record of your workout routine.
#6 Enjoy Physical Activity
Exercise plays an important role weight loss. It helps to burn excess calorie stored in the body. So go for a light walk in an early day and later you can try running or gym. It will enhance your energy utilization level.
#7 Reward Yourself
You don’t need to skip every food you like. After a long successful week, you can reward yourself on a weekend. Go and enjoy the food but don’t exceed the quantity.
