A slow or reasonable progress is acceptable until your focus is on making consistent improvement. Effort gets wasted when you stop making progress.
You can make a great deal of progress when you make consistent improvement.
What is a Slow and Reasonable Progress?
Suppose you are losing a 1 percent body fat per month then with that consistent rate you will lose around 6 percent in a 6 month. When you maintain that rate you will lose 12 percent by the end of the year.
With habits, start to build few habits but keep on adding a new habit.
Increase healthy foods intake.
Action can be small but keep on making progress.
1. Set your Minimum
Small but a daily effort will total up to give an incredible result at the end of the month and even a year.
If you plan to go gym for 3-4 times per week, stay consistent.
Want to increase strength to do more push, start with few and keep on adding 1-2 reps every week or as per your minimum gain.
Find where you need to be consistent and where you can increase steadily.
2. Success is about Maintaining the Progress
If you want to make an incredible achievement, then you need to maintain the rate of progress.
A short burst of effort will make great progress in the beginning but those progress fades as you stop making an effort.
If you start slow, make a reasonable effort and progress while maintaining the rate of progress you will achieve a great result.
1. Set you Minimum Target
Time limit, busy schedule and other things will come in the way to complete a daily and weekly target. To avoid the situation, you need to first find your weekly schedule. Figure out how much time you can dedicate to that goal and when.
By doing this calculation you will figure out the minimum target to set.
For the first week, set a minimum target to figure out the time to complete that target. By the second week, you will know, what takes more time. Start with less and keep on changing as per your time permits.
2. Keep The Rate of Progress
As said earlier, the more you maintain the rate of progress, better will the result in upcoming time. You need not make a huge leap, a small but consistent action will be the key to your success.
You need to make a smarter decision while calculating your rate of progress. Don’t push harder and end up damaging your health or confidence.
Maintaining rate of progress is to keep you on track rather than pushing out.
Listen to your body, its signal, and act. You should try to push harder but not every time.
3. Stay Motivated
Someday you will get a great result, someday the result will be fair.
Transformation or setting a goal is to push you forward. It will help to make better changes in your life. It’s not intended to push you in depression.
Always be satisfied with the effort you take. If you lack the effort someday, try to improve it the next day without overburdening.
It takes time to achieve a goal, the path may bring hurdles in the way, but you need to remind that result will heal all the pain.
Whatever you may do in your life, never forget to enjoy that moment.
