Studies were done on 27 inactive, sedentary 65-year-old men for eight weeks.
During this day half were provided 250 mg of Resveratrol from wine other were provided placebo, with high-intensity interval training.
At the end of training, it was found that people provided with wine in limited quantity VO2 max improved while persons with a dosage with placebo had lower VO2 max.
