If you assumed that healthy meals require a lot of time and effort in the kitchen to make, think again as there are countless healthy meals that are relatively simple to prepare and are well worth the small amount of effort which is required.
Instead of using traditional taco shells to make your tacos, simply fry large eggs in a circular shape which you can later fold in half to make a taco shape. Inside your egg tacos you can place a variety of healthy, delicious ingredients such as spinach, tomatoes, asparagus and mushrooms. You can even add your choice of meal such as shredded chicken or beef to your personalized egg tacos. While if you’re vegetarian you may want to opt for grilled tofu or avocado instead. Egg tacos are healthy because eggs are packed full of protein and healthy fats and the vegetables which you place inside your tacos will be packed full of essential nutrients and vitamins.
Healthy mac and cheese:
Instead of just using pasta to create healthy mac and cheese, you can make your go to make and cheese dish a lot healthier by substituting half of your pasta for cauliflower pasta. The latter of which is essentially shredded cauliflower which you can purchase at your local grocery store or prepare yourself.
Vegetarian ma po tofu:
If your ideal meal is spicy and you’re a huge fan of Asian cuisine, you may want to have a go at creating vegetarian ma po tofu. Which is created using black bean paste, silken tofu as opposed to fried tofu, shitake mushrooms, chili and broccoli. If you’ve never tried making vegetarian ma po tofu before, don’t worry as there are countless simple recipes which you’ll be able to find online. Which you should find useful. If you like to eat white rice with spicy dishes, make sure to prepare a serving of rice for your vegetarian ma po tofu.
Lemon chicken served with rice:
